The General Objective of the project is to contribute to environmental, social and economic sustainability through the creation of a multidisciplinary course that will focus on the potential applications of Reverse Engineering techniques for Circular Economy solutions. This course will open up to a new professional figure, whom we define as an “expert for the circular transition in the manufacturing sector”, and that will be proposed, after validation, to the ESCO classification for being integrated among the other professional figures already available.
The project’s Specific Objectives are:
SO1. Validating the identified educational resources to support the learning of Reverse Engineering for Circular Economy at the higher education level (WP2)
SO2. Developing an interactive digital tool presenting and describing different materials – e.g. software – to implement RE, in order to support the learning of RE and CE at the higher education level (WP2)
SO3. Creating the training materials on RE techniques for CE solutions with innovative and inclusive methodologies (WP3)
SO4. Developing students’ specific skills and competences in the field of Reverse Engineering for the Circular Economy (WP4)
SO5. Increasing the partners’ HEIs’s capacity to adapt learning experiences to the challenges of sustainability in real-case scenarios (WP4)
SO6. Providing external comprehensive information and complete training materials on the adoption of RE in the frame of CE solutions (WP5)
SO7. Fostering the potential of RE applied for CE in the green transition processes to key stakeholders (WP5)
