The CircleRedu project will support students and educators in adapting to digital transformation, aligning with the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027) and with the main objectives of the EU Green Deal.
The development and testing of the CircleRedu multidisciplinary e-learning course, consisting of 4 modules, will contribute to increasing the knowledge of HEI students in Reverse Engineering (RE) and its potential application to implement Circular Economy (CE) solutions; increasing the learners’ digital skills to adopt RE in companies; increasing the green skills to enrich the circular economy solutions in the manufacturing sector.
The course will developed through 4 modules:
Module 1 Green Skills for CE
Module 2 Digital/technical skills for RE
Module 3 Innovative Change Management in Manufacturing for green transition and RE
Module 4 Solving real industrial challenges
The partners will gather input from companies and other HE lecturers to validate the training modules already outlined. The design of CircleRedu course will be conducted by the partners according to their specific areas of expertise. During the pilot, the students will use such materials to develop their digital and green skills, also adopting challenge-based approach. Finally, the partners will focus their efforts on reaching a wide audience of potential users for the training materials.
The result of the project will be a set of teaching and educational materials, including: a detailed syllabus, IT toolbox on Reverse Engineering (RE) resources, e-learning platform, training materials, handbook, coaching methodology to solve real business challenges. The complete delivery of the course on RE techniques for Circular Economy solutions will address the needs for newly skilled professionals to drive the green transition processes in the manufacturing sector through innovation.
The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme Cooperation partnerships in higher education (KA220-HED). The total value of the project budget is 400 00,00 EUR.
Project duration: 1 December 2024 – 30 November 2027 (36 months).
As part of the project, five work packages have been planned:
Work package 1 – Project Management
Work package 2 – Definition of the detailed syllabus and development of Digital tool for RE resources
Work package 3 – Preparation of training contents and e-learning platform
Work package 4 – Piloting courses and preparation of students’ solutions
Work package 5 – Dissemination and Exploitation
